AP TET Eligibility Criteria 2022: Qualification & Age Limit

AP TET Eligibility Criteria: AP TET eligibility criteria have been released by CSEAP. All the candidates will start filling out the application form for AP TET from 16 June to 16 July 2022. To ensure about their eligibility for AP TET exam, candidate should go through with this article in detail. AP TET exam will held for regular school and special school and there eligibility will be also different. Candidates can check the AP TET age limit, and eligibility criteria for Paper 1 & 2 of Regular Schools and Paper 1 & 2 for Special schools.

AP TET Eligibility Criteria 2022

Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) application form has been open till 16th July 2022.All the candidate should read AP TET eligibility criteria carefully before filling the application form. AP TET examination will be held for regular school and special schools. In regular School , candidate can apply for Class 1 to V and Class VI to VIII for AP TET. In Special schools , candidate can apply for Class 1 to V and Class VI to VIII for AP TET.

AP TET Eligibility Criteria for Regular Schools

AP TET Qualification for Paper-I A (Classes I to V) AP TET Qualification for Paper-II A (Classes VI to VIII)
Class12th with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
(or)
Class12th with at least 45% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE
(or)
Class12th with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)(or)
Class12th with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education)

Graduation and two year diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
(or)
Post Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three year integrated B.Ed/M.Ed.
At least 50% marks either in Graduation (or) in Post Graduation with B.Ed.,

Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor of Education in accordance with the NCTE

Class12th with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed)

AP TET Qualification for Paper-I B (Classes I to V) AP TET Qualification for Paper-II B (Classes VI to VIII)
Class12th and two year D.Ed. Special Education in any of the category of disability
(or)
Class12th and one year Diploma in Special Education (DSE) in any of the category of disability .

Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (DCBR) with 6 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs.

Post Graduate Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (PGDCBR) with 6 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs.
(Or)
Diploma in Multi Rehabilitation Worker (MRW) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs.
(Or)
Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf.
(Or)
Primary level Teacher Training course in Visual Impairment.
(Or)
Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation – Mental Retardation (DVR-MR) / Diploma
in Vocational Training and Employment – Mental Retardation (DVTE-MR) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs.
(Or)
Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech (DHLS) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs.
(Or)
Class12th passed with any RCI recognized qualification of minimum 1 year duration and 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs.

Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI.
Graduate with B.Ed.(Special Education)/ B.Ed.(General) with one year Diploma in Special Education

or

Graduate with B.Ed. (General) with two years Diploma in Special Education

or

Graduate with B.Ed.(General) with Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special Education (PGDC)

or

Graduate with PG Diploma in Special Education (Mental Retardation)

or

Graduate with PG Diploma in Special Education (Multiple Disability : Physical & Neurological)

or

Graduate with PG Diploma in Special Education (Locomotor Impairment and Cerebral Palsy)

or

Graduate with Secondary level Teacher Training Course in Visual Impairment / Senior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf

or

BA B.Ed. in Visual impairment

or

Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI.

Andhra Pradesh TET Age Limit

The candidates must be 18 years and above to become eligible for the AP TET Exam 2022. There is no upper AP TET Age Limit as the AP TET Eligibility Criteria 2022. The candidates must ensure they are 18 years or above to apply for the AP TET Exam 2022.
