The petition has been filed by the Supreme Court advocate Gaurav Yadav, to seek a stay on the Allahabad High Court verdict. Earlier, a caveat was filed on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh Government in the Supreme Court to not issue any order related to the case without hearing its side.
