UP PGT English Exam Pattern 2026
The UP PGT Exam 2026 is also conducted in offline (OMR-based) mode with 120 multiple-choice questions. Out of these, 90 questions are from the concerned subject, and 30 questions are from general studies. Each question carries 3 marks, making the written examination worth 360 marks. Negative marking is applicable in the exam. Unlike the TGT recruitment process, UP PGT selection also includes a 40-mark interview, and the final merit is prepared based on the written examination and interview performance.
