SGOU Faculty Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need a master degree with at least 55% marks and either are NET qualification or a PhD. The notification sets out these requirements:

• Masters degree with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the concerned subject from a recognised Indian University or an accredited foreign institution.
• For computer science and data science and analytics; candidates holding an M.tech degree ( as per the AICTE norms) are also eligible in addition to M.Sc.

• National eligibility test / PhD: Candidates must have cleared the UGC/CSIR NET, SLET/ SET in the relevant discipline OR hold a PhD degree awarded in accordance with UGC regulations
