The delegation requested the government to release a fresh recruitment notification for unemployed TET-qualified ETT candidates. The committee reportedly assured the candidates that the recruitment advertisement for around 4,000 posts would be issued.

The meeting was held with Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, who heads the Cabinet Sub-Committee. The representatives highlighted the demand for providing employment opportunities to TET-qualified ETT candidates.
