KARTET Application Form 2021: The Karnataka TET Online Application has started from  01st July 2021 and will be active till 20th July 2021. Eligible candidates need to fill in their required information to register themselves for the Karnataka TET Application form. Candidates are required to fill up the application form before the last date of application form submissions. Karnataka holds teacher eligibility tests at the state level like other states. The exam is called Karnataka TET or KARTET.In this article, we will discuss all steps regarding the Karnataka TET Form filling.

Steps To Fill KARTET Application Form 2021

Follow the steps below to fill Karnataka TET application form 2021:

Step 1: Visit the official website, @schooleducation.kar.nic.in.

Step 2: eligible candidate fills the registration form online by entering the required details,

Step 3: Re-login with username and password. & Complete the application form

Step 4: Fill in the rest of the required credentials and upload the scanned images in the prescribed format.

KARTET Application Form 2021 Link

The online registration process for KARTET 2021 is active till 20th July 2021. All the eligible candidates can apply online through the official website with their personal login ID and password. The application link will be active soon on the website. Only candidates who teach in Karnataka State can apply for KARTET 2021.

Karnataka TET 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the Karnataka TET Exam candidate must go through the Karnataka TET Eligibility Criteria.  Karnataka TET Eligibility Criteria for primary  & upper primary teachers is mentioned below.

KAR TET qualification for Primary Teachers (Class 1 to 5) KAR TET qualification for Upper Primary Teachers (Class 6 to 8)
PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year or 4th year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

KAR TET Age Limit: The lower age limit of the applicants should be 18 years, and there is no upper age limit will be around 35 to 40 years (relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to reserved category candidates).

KARTET Exam Pattern 2021

There will be two papers on KARTET.

  • Paper -I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
  • Paper-II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII
  • Total Marks: 150 (For Each Paper)
  • Total Question: 150 (For Each Paper)
  • Total Time: 2 hr 30 min(For Each Paper)
  • Negative Marking: No
  • Medium of question paper: English, Kannada, Urdu, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Marathi.

Karnataka TET 2021: Cut Off Marks

The candidates belonging to General should secure a minimum of 60% to be eligible. The candidates belonging to the reserved category should secure a minimum of 55% to be eligible.
