The EMRS Tier 2 Exam Date 2026 has been officially announced by the National Education Society for Tribal Students under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. As per the notice dated 25/02/2026, the Tier-II examination for candidates shortlisted in Tier-I of the EMRS Staff Selection Examination (ESSE) 2025 will be conducted from 22/03/2026 to 25/03/2026.

EMRS Tier 2 Shift Timing & Schedule

The official shift timings for the EMRS Tier 2 (Mains) Exam 2026 have been structured into two primary slots: Forenoon and Afternoon. Since the Tier 2 exam is a hybrid of objective and descriptive questions, the total duration for all posts is 3 hours.

Whether most of the exam are like OMR Based or purely descriptive, EMRS Tier 2 uses a 3-hour hybrid format:

• Objective (40 Marks): 40 questions testing rapid-fire subject knowledge.
• Descriptive (60 Marks): 15 questions requiring detailed, long-form answers.

For teaching and administrative posts, Tier 2 is a hybrid challenge. It combines the familiar Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with a Subjective/Descriptive section that requires actual pen-and-paper writing.
