DAV School Staff Syllabus 2025
The syllabus focuses on evaluating both reasoning ability and subject knowledge. It’s designed to assess analytical thinking, teaching aptitude, and subject proficiency. The exam will include two main sections-Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning and a Subject-specific Paper based on the post applied for.
For subject papers, candidates should prepare as per the NCERT curriculum and related teaching content.
- Paper 1 (Reasoning): Covers logical and analytical reasoning, including coding-decoding, series, analogies, and pattern-based questions.
- Paper 2 (Main Subject): Tests conceptual understanding of the applied teaching subject such as English, Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or regional languages.
Special Choices for TGT Candidates:
- TGT Science: Candidates can select any two subjects from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- TGT Social Science: Candidates can choose any two subjects from Geography, History + Political Science, and Economics.
DAV School Staff Exam Pattern 2025
The DAV School Staff Exam 2025 will be conducted online as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) with two papers- Paper I and Paper II- lasting a total of 90 minutes. The exam consists of 55 multiple-choice questions, with no negative marking. The medium of the exam is English, except for Hindi, Sanskrit, and other regional languages.
