CTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are required to read through the CTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria thoroughly to ensure they are eligible for the CTET 2024 Exam which will be conducted on 7 July 2024. In case the candidates are unable to meet the eligibility criteria for CTET 2024 then their application form will be rejected.

• The CTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria for Paper I states that the Candidates should pass 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks to be qualified as a primary-stage teacher
• The CTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria for Paper II states that Candidates should clear graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or 10+2 with at least 50 percent aggregate marks from a recognized university to be qualified for the appointment of a secondary teacher
• Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for appearing in the CTET exam. However, some states may have specific age requirements for government teaching jobs.

• STEP 1: Log on to CTET’s official website https://ctet.nic.in
• STEP 2: Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same.
• STEP 3: Fill in the CTET Online Application Form 2024 and note down Registration No./Application No.
• STEP 4: Upload the latest Scanned Photograph and Signature.
• STEP 5: Pay the CTET Application Fee by debit/credit card and net banking.

CTET 2024 Application Fee

The CTET 2024 Application Fee for general or OBC category candidates is Rs. 1000/- for one paper (CTET Paper I or CTET Paper II) and Rs. 1200/- for both papers (CTET Paper I and CTET Paper II). While the candidates belonging to the reserved categories such as SC, ST and Differently Abled person need to pay a CTET 2024 Application Fee of Rs. 500/- for one paper (CTET Paper I or CTET Paper II) and Rs. 600/- for both papers (CTET Paper I and CTET Paper II).
