Chhattisgarh SAGES Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility differs from post to post, and every candidate must meet the minimum qualification by the last date of the online application. Candidates must be domiciled in Chhattisgarh and must submit a valid certificate. Applicants must also have studied in the English medium. Only the Hindi and Sanskrit Lecturer and Teacher posts are exempt from this rule. Teaching posts at school level also require a Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) pass at the matching level.

Chhattisgarh SAGES Faculty Age Limit and Relaxation

The age limit applies to all posts and is counted as on 1 January 2026. The state allows extra years for reserved categories and for existing government staff. Relaxation is given only on the basis of valid certificates, which candidates must attach at the time of verification. Even after all relaxations are added together, the maximum age for entry into government service cannot go beyond 45 years.

RGSSH Faculty Selection Process

The selection will be based on a computer-based test, and the exam will be held in English. The test is expected to take place in different shifts depending on the number of applicants. Candidates should keep checking the official portal for the exam city, date and admit card updates.
