BPSC Recruitment 2022 has been released by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). The examination will hold offline i.e. pen and paper mode with the main objective of filling up 6421 vacancies for the post of Head Master in Secondary Schools in Bihar run by the State government.  For further details, refer to the table below.

There are four stages of selection porches. The candidates must go through and succeed in all the stages to achieve the appointment letter for the post of BPSC Head Master 2022. There are four stages include- written test, merit list, document verification and merit-cum-choice.

Written Test

The candidate will have to appear for the BPSC Head Master Recruitment Exam 2022. They will have to solve 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions in 3 hours. For each correct answer, they will receive 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. There will be 100 questions on General Studies and 50 questions will be on B.Ed Course. The candidates will be given an OMR sheet where they have to mark the correct answers for each question.

Merit List

On the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the BPSC Head Master Recruitment Exam 2022, a merit list will be prepared. Candidates belonging to the General Category must score at least 40%. Similarly, 36.5% marks for OBC candidates, 34% marks for SC/ST candidates and 32% marks for female and Physically Handicapped candidates has been prescribed as the cut-off marks. The candidates will have to score the minimum percentage prescribed for the respective categories.

Document Verification

The next step will be document verification. The BPSC authority will scrutinize the documents submitted by the candidates. They will check the validity and authenticity of the documents the candidates have submitted at the time of the application submission. After the verification is complete, a final merit list will be published.

Merit-Cum-Choice Posting

Finally, the appointed candidates will be allotted to their respective schools/divisions on the basis of merit-cum-choice by the commissionary (pramandal) of the area. The number of vacancies available in each district will also play a significant role in the allotment.
