Bihar 7th Phase Teacher Vacancy Selection Process

The Education Department of Bihar has come up with a new Selection Process for the 7th Phase of Teacher vacancies in Bihar. Bihar Cabinet has released the new guidelines for Teacher Recruitment in Bihar to fill 2.25 Lakh vacancies. According to the new Selection Process, Bihar 7th Phase Selection Process will be centralized.

Bihar Cabinet Approves New Teacher Recruitment Rule

Earlier, The Education Department of Bihar released a notice stating that the Bihar TET Exam 2022 had been cancelled and that the candidates will be able to apply for the 7th Phase of Teacher Recruitment 2023 on the basis of their CTET or TET Result. Now, they are coming up with a proposal with introducing the 60-40 ratio of weightage for the CTET Score and Academic Score of the candidates for the 7th Phase of Teacher Recruitment 2022.

Earlier, the candidates only had to state if they are CTET qualified or not in the 7th Phase of the Teacher Recruitment 2022 Application Form. However, now they have to mention their CTET Score in the application form and 60% of the CTET Score will be considered for Class 1-10 under the 7th Phase of Teacher Recruitment 2022.

The new selected appointees will be eligible for various allowances and facilities already equivalent to state government employees under Bihar 7th Phase Teacher Vacancy Selection Process.The teachers will be divided into district-wise cadres and they will be equivalent to the state employees. For the higher secondary schools, the teachers will be divided into a subject-wise cadre system.

For Classes 1-5, the total score obtained in D. El. Ed, 10th and 12th board will be divided by 3 to extract the Academic Score of the candidates and 40% of the Academic Score will be considered for the 7th Phase of Teacher Recruitment 2023. On the other hand, for classes 6-10, the total score obtained in B. Ed and Graduation will be divided by 2 to extract the Academic Score of the candidates and 40% of the Academic Score will be considered for the 7th Phase of Teacher Recruitment 2023.
