Assam B.Ed Selection Process

Candidates will be selected purely on the basis of their performance in the Assam B.Ed Entrance Examination 2026. Check the key points of the selection process below.

• Candidates will be selected based on their merit in the B.Ed Entrance Examination 2026.
• After the exam, Assam University will release an official merit list for admission.
• Applicants can choose a maximum of 5 colleges in order of preference at the time of applying.
• Once admitted to a college, only one chance is given to shift to a more preferred college if selected in the merit list later.
• Appeared candidates must submit their marksheet to their 1st Preference College by the declared date to be considered in the merit list.
• Appeared candidates who fail to submit their marksheet on time will not be eligible for admission in any B.Ed College affiliated to Assam University.
• Admission will be provisional and subject to verification of all original certificates and documents.
• In case of any discrepancy found during verification, the application will be rejected and admission will be cancelled.

Steps to Apply for Assam B.Ed Entrance Exam 2026-2028

Follow below steps to apply for Assam B.Ed exam and this application form needs to be filled online only and will not be accepted in any other format:

• Go to the official website ausexamination.ac.in/admission
• Click on “Applicant Login” on the landing page
• New applicants click on “New Applicant Create a New Account”
• Fill in all compulsory details and set a password as per the rules
• Submit the Captcha and click on “Register”
• You will receive your Username, Password, and OTP on your registered email/SMS
• Enter the OTP and proceed to the main Application Form
• Fill in all required details and upload the necessary documents
• Pay the application fee online (Net Banking/UPI/BHIM)
• Upload the payment confirmation receipt and submit the form
• Take a printout of the submitted application for future reference

Application Fees

The application fee must be paid online before final submission of the form. Payment can be made through Net Banking, UPI, or BHIM to the respective bank account of the preferred college.
