In the case of AP TET, the Normalization formula is implemented to address variations in the difficulty levels of different exam shifts. The process involves calculating raw scores based on several factors:

• Average marks of the top 0.1% of candidates in all shifts.
• Sum of mean and standard deviation marks of candidates in all shifts.
• Average marks of the top 0.1% of candidates in a particular shift.
• Sum of mean marks and standard deviation of a particular shift.
• Actual marks obtained by a candidate in a particular shift.
• Sum of mean marks of candidates in the shift with the maximum mean and standard deviation of marks.
