UGC NET Exam Date 2026 Out for English, Commerce & Sociology, Check Official Notice

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the re-conduct of the UGC NET June 2026 examination for English, Commerce and Sociology. The decision has been taken after NTA received several complaints regarding multiple errors in the question papers of these three subjects. An expert committee constituted by NTA examined the complaints and recommended re-conducting the affected papers to ensure a fair, error-free examination.

NTA has now released the revised re-examination schedule. The English and Commerce papers will be conducted on September 9, 2026, while the Sociology paper will be held on September 10, 2026. Candidates appearing for the re-examination will not have to pay any additional examination fee.
