Since the Tier 1 exam is offline (OMR-based), CBSE has implemented strict biometric rules:
- Digital Login Restriction: When downloading your admit card, you must use your Registration Number (starting with 2598). Do not use your application number, or the system will deny access.
- Thumb Impression & Facial Recognition: Biometric attendance is mandatory. Candidates with henna (Mehendi) or tattoos on their fingers are advised to clean their hands to avoid fingerprint failure.
- No “Double Bubbling”: On the OMR sheet, marking two circles for one question or using white fluid will show that question being marked as “Wrong” (-1 penalty).
Shift-Wise Last-Minute Tips
- PRT & JSA (10 Jan- Morning): Focus should be on the highest weightage sections as per the exam pattern of KVS Tier I- Language Competency and Basic Computers
- MTS (10 Jan- Afternoon): As the difficulty level is Secondary level hence avoid guesswork. Also, there is a negative marking of 1/3 marks.
- PGT/TGT (11 Jan): Make sure you have the CTET Certificate in hand, as biometrics may be cross-verified with the DigiLocker CTET database.
