• People who have obtained a Master’s degree lasting 1 year or two semesters after completing a 4-year or eight-semester Bachelor’s degree, or those who have a 2-year or four-semester Master’s degree following a 3-year Bachelor’s degree, or those with an equivalent qualification, may be considered for admission to a Ph.D. programme.
• Normally, the candidates have to obtain a total of at least 55% or the equivalent grade.
• Anyone who has finished a 4-year bachelor’s degree and is applying for direct admission to a Ph.D. programme must have obtained at least 75% in total or a comparable grade.
• Eligible reserved-category candidates may be given a relaxation in the minimum marks in accordance with the university’s rules and the applicable Haryana reservation provisions
• Candidates who have an M.Phil. degree and who attain the required minimum marks may also be eligible for admission to a Ph.D., provided that the conditions stated in the prospectus are met.
