The KVS PGT Exam Pattern 2025 follows a structured three-stage selection process i.e. Tier-1, Tier-2, and Interview, designed to assess reasoning ability, subject knowledge, and teaching suitability. Candidates shortlisted in a 1:10 ratio proceed to Tier-2, which is the main subject knowledge examination comprising both objective and descriptive questions for a total of 100 marks with 1/4th negative marking. Those who qualify Tier-2 are called for the Interview (100 marks) in a 1:3 ratio, and the final merit list is prepared by giving 85% weightage to Tier-2 and 15% to the Interview, ensuring a balanced evaluation of academic depth and teaching aptitude.
