Earlier, the delay had also reached the Delhi High Court, where the Court directed CBSE and the concerned authorities to expedite the declaration of the KVS Special Educator Tier-II result. In its official clarification, the CTET Unit acknowledged the ongoing speculation regarding the declaration of the Tier-II recruitment results. The authority clarified that the recruitment process involves both objective and descriptive examinations, which has extended the evaluation timeline.

According to the press note, the evaluation of OMR sheets has already been completed, while the physical evaluation of over 2.1 lakh descriptive answer books across 68 disciplines is in the advanced stage. Based on the current progress, CBSE has confirmed that the Tier-II results will start being declared in phases from the middle of August 2026.
