1st July: National Doctor’s day

The first day of July is observed as National Doctor’s Day. The day has been declared the National Doctor’s Day after the birth anniversary of Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy to honour his contribution to the country. On this day, after an intense 2-month war, India gains full control of the Indian Territory taking control by false means by Pakistan. To commemorate the victory is day is celebrated in India as Vijay Diwas.
