How To Activate CSIR Fellowship

Where do I download Annexure II for CSIR JRF activation?

Download it from the official CSIR HRDG website. It has 6 pages when downloaded, but Page 4 is blank, so only 5 pages need to be filled.

Does the passport photo on Annexure II need to be self-attested?

No. The photo on Page 1 of Annexure II must be specifically attested by your Supervisor, not self-attested. This is different from the photo pasted on the plain A4 sheet in your documents set.

What is the correct joining date to fill on the joining report?

Your joining date should be whichever is the latest among three dates: the date of issue of your JRF (NET) certificate, the effective date of fellowship, or your actual joining date.

What are the rules for naming soft copy PDF files?

Each PDF file name must not contain any spaces, numbers, or special characters. File size must also be kept below 1 MB.

How does monthly fellowship payment work after activation?

You submit your attendance on the CSIR AMS Fellow Portal each month. Your guide approves it, the university approves it, and CSIR credits the fellowship amount to your bank account within a week.
