The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released the DSSSB Teacher Recruitment 2025 notification under Advt. No. 05/2025, announcing 1180 vacancies in the Directorate of Education and the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC). This is a big opportunity for teaching aspirants in Delhi who hold the required eligibility, including a CTET Paper I qualification. The online application process will be available from 17 September 2025 to 16 October 2025 (11:59 PM) on the official DSSSB website, and candidates should note that offline applications will not be accepted.

The DSSSB PRT Vacancy 2025 has been released for 1180 posts under the Directorate of Education and the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC). Of the total, 1055 vacancies fall under the Directorate of Education, while 125 vacancies are reserved for NDMC. The category-wise distribution includes 502 for UR, 306 for OBC, 166 for SC, 69 for ST, and 137 for EWS, along with 61 posts for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). Aspirants should note that these vacancies are provisional and subject to revision based on departmental requirements.

Educational Qualification For the Directorate of Education:

• Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / B.El.Ed. / Diploma in Special Education, OR
• Graduation + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
• Must have passed CTET Paper I
• Must have studied Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi/English at the Secondary level

• Two-year Diploma in Primary Education / ETE / JBT / DIET / B.El.Ed.
• Must have passed Hindi in Class 10
• Must have cleared CTET Paper I

Age Limit (as on 16/10/2025)

• Maximum Age: 30 years
• Relaxations:
• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD (UR/EWS): 10 years
• PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
• PwBD (OBC): 13 years
