Major Changes in BPSC TRE
Major Changes in BPSC TRE कुल रिक्तियां 32,388 शिक्षक पद 1/3 Negative Marking गलत उत्तर या प्रश्न हल न करने (सभी विकल्प खाली छोड़ने) की स्थिति में 1/3 अंक की कटौती की जाएगी। STET 2026 Self-Declaration पात्रता एवं प्रमाणपत्र के सत्यापन के संदर्भ में STET 2026 अभ्यर्थियों के लिए Self-Declaration (स्व-घोषणा) का प्रावधान जोड़ा गया है। आवेदन शुल्क में कमी परीक्षा शुल्क को घटाकर ₹100 प्रति वर्ग/कैटेगरी कर दिया गया है। OTR अनिवार्य आवेदन प्रक्रिया से पूर्व One Time Registration (OTR) अनिवार्य होगा। DigiLocker Integration OTR एवं आवेदन के दौरान दस्तावेजों और पहचान के डिजिटल सत्यापन हेतु DigiLocker को जोड़ा गया है। Biometric Fee ऑनलाइन आवेदन में आधार संख्या दर्ज न करने पर ₹200 बायोमेट्रिक शुल्क अतिरिक्त देना होगा। BSEB Unique ID आवेदन पत्र भरते समय BSEB से संबंधित Unique ID दर्ज करना अनिवार्य होगा। Self-Declaration पात्रता, अनुभव या श्रेणी संबंधी दावों के सत्यापन हेतु Self-Declaration (स्व-घोषणा पत्र) मान्य किया गया है। एक से अधिक चरणों में परीक्षा अभ्यर्थियों की अधिक संख्या होने पर परीक्षा एक से अधिक चरणों/पालियों में आयोजित की जा सकती है। रिक्तियों में बदलाव संभव विभाग से प्राप्त अंतिम अधियाचना या संशोधनों के अनुसार सीटों की संख्या घट या बढ़ सकती है।

Applying for BPSC TRE 4 is a fully online process once the application window opens. Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before filling out the form. It is important to check all details carefully before final submission, as correction opportunities are usually limited after the deadline.
- Visit www.bpsc.bihar.gov.in and complete One Time Registration (OTR)
- Link your DigiLocker account and complete profile creation (personal, address, qualification, and experience details)
- Upload photo and signature as per specified format and lock your profile
- Go to the New Application tab and select the BPSC TRE 4.0 (Advertisement No. 14/2026) link
- Choose your post/subject and category, then proceed to payment

Application Fee
- Exam Fee: ₹100 per class-level category. Candidates applying for multiple levels such as Class 1–5, 6–8, 9–10, and 11–12 have to pay the applicable fee separately for each level.
- Biometric Fee: ₹200. This fee is mandatory only for candidates who do not provide a valid Aadhaar number during online registration. Candidates providing Aadhaar details are exempted from this fee.
- Bank Processing Fee: As per the applicable bank charges. This fee is mandatory for all online payments and is automatically charged by the payment gateway.
- Aadhaar/OTP Requirement: No separate fee. Aadhaar verification is mandatory during Document Verification (DV), and the mobile number must be linked with Aadhaar. Failure to receive the required OTP during DV may affect the candidate’s eligibility.
The BPSC TRE 4.0 selection process will be conducted through a structured, multi-stage system, and qualifying for each stage will be mandatory to proceed further. Unlike previous TRE cycles, this time a preliminary test will be held first, and only qualified candidates will be allowed to sit for the main exam. As per the latest guidelines, there will be no negative marking in the 150-question paper.

BPSC TRE 4.0 Exam Pattern 2026

Self-Declaration Form for STET 2026 Appearing Candidates to Apply for BPSC TRE 4.0
BPSC has clarified that candidates who possess the required educational qualification and teacher training but have not yet cleared the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET), 2026 can also apply for BPSC TRE 4.0, provided they clear STET 2026 before the Preliminary Test for the Secondary level. Such candidates must submit a self-declaration form along with a photocopy of their STET 2026 application while applying for the Middle School Teacher Eligibility Test (TRE-4.0) recruitment exam.
Details required in the self-declaration form:
- Candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, Aadhaar number
Village/city, post office, police station, district, and state of residence. - STET 2026 application number.
- Candidate’s name, father’s name, and mother’s name in both Hindi and English (Capital Letters).
- Signature confirming the information is true; false information can lead to cancellation of candidature, for which the candidate will be solely responsible.
Note: If the required uttirnata (qualifying result) in Madhyamik Shikshak Patrata Pariksha (STET), 2026 is not achieved before the Preliminary Test, an admit card for the Preliminary Test will not be issued to such candidates.
