How To Apply For Assam TET 2021?
- Step 1: Log-in through the website https://ssa.assam.qov.in or https://sebaonline.orq
- Step 2: Download instructions Manual and Read carefully the instructions Manual
- Step 3: Click on the Application form and register there.
- Step 4: Log in with application ID and Password
- Step 5: Fill in your personal details and Submit Online Application
- Step 6: Upload Passport size color Photograph, Signature, Pass Certificate of Professional Qualification, Final Year admit card of ongoing professional course (in case of candidates pursuing professional qualification) of the recommended size
- Step 7: The candidate has to pay the fee through online banking/credit card/ debit card etc.

Assam TET Eligibility Criteria 2021
(A) Minimum Qualification for appearing in Lower Primary TET (Classes I to V):
Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/4-year B.El.Ed/ 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) obtained from any recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in class I to V, provided the person so appointed as a teacher will have to mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by NCTE within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher.
(B) Minimum Qualification for appearing in Upper Primary TET (Classes VI to VIII)
Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
Graduation or Post Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed)
Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed)/ 4-year B.A./B. Sc. Ed. Or B.A.Ed/B. Sc. Ed.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year B. Ed. (Special Education)

Assam TET Minimum Passing Marks
A candidate is required to score 60 % i.e. 90 marks out of 150 to qualify for the Assam Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET). However, for SC/ST (Hills)/ST (Plain)/OBC/MOBC/PWD (PH), there will be a relaxation of 5 %. Thus, for these candidates, qualifying marks will be 83 out of 150 i.e. 55 %.
- For General Category – 60 % i.e. 90 marks out of 150
- For SC/ST (Hills)/ST (Plain)/OBC/MOBC/PWD (PH) – 55 % i.e. 83 out of 150
Assam TET Certificate Validity
The validity of the Mark sheet cum Certificate of Assam TET shall be lifetime from the date of issue of the certificate by the Empowered Committee, TET, Govt. of Assam. The TET qualifying certificate for an appointment, unless otherwise notified by the appropriate Government, would remain valid for a lifetime from the date of issue of the certificate by the Empowered Committee, TET, Govt. of Assam.
