APSET Educational Qualification

APSET Educational qualification for Eligible candidates has been provided below.

  • General/General-EWS candidates need 55% marks in a Master’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Backward Classes (BC), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability (PwD), and gender category candidates require 50% marks in Master’s Degree
  • Provisional applications are accepted for those awaiting results or facing delays in qualifying exams.
  • Ph.D. degree holders pre-September 19, 1991, receive a 5% relaxation in aggregate marks.
  • Candidates are advised to appear in their Post-Graduation subject.
  • Pre-June 1, 2002, SET qualifiers exempt from NET; post-June 1, 2002, SET qualifiers eligible for Lecturer/Assistant Professor posts in their state.
  • No age limit for APSET.
