NEET Exam Date 2025: The NEET Exam is scheduled for May 4, 2025. With the NEET UG 2025 exam just a few days away, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will shortly distribute the NEET Admit Card 2025. NEET Exam Date 2025

The official NEET Exam date 2025 is out, the entrance exam is scheduled for May 4th. Last year also the exam was also held in the first week of May. Candidates were allowed to submit the NEET Application Form 2025 from February 7 to March 7. This year, students didn’t get a second chance to complete the registration same like last year. NEET UG 2025 Exam Date and Timings

The Invigilators will give you a total of 3 hours to solve the NEET Question Paper 2025 in a paper-and-pencil-based (PBT) format. At first, the NEET exam duration was 3 hours and 20 minutes, but with the latest revision in the NEET Exam pattern, the exam duration is reduced to only 180 minutes. NTA NEET 2025 Exam Schedule and Other Important Events

NEET 2025 Exam date was mentioned on the NEET UG notification. Till last year, NTA had announced only the application dates, and the rest were announced on a real-time basis.

NEET Application Form 2025

Candidates can apply for the NEET (UG) exam using the “Online” method exclusively through the official website https://neet.nta.nic.in/. The candidate must provide a recent passport photograph, proof of address, a scanned signature, and other documents. For further details, please read the Bulletin thoroughly. A candidate can only submit one application for the entrance exam.

Candidates must strictly adhere to the instructions provided in the NEET Information Bulletin and on the NTA website. Candidates who do not follow the instructions will be summarily disqualified. Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and mobile number supplied in the NEET UG Online Application Form are their own or their parents’/guardians’ own. Since NTA will send all information/communication by e-mail to the registered e-mail address or SMS to the registered mobile number.

Will the NEET Exam 2025 be in Multiple Days?

Earlier, NTA released a notification stating that NEET will be conducted in a single day in offline mode. Hence, the speculations regarding the exam being conducted in multiple days and in more than one slot have been quashed.

Major Changes in NEET Exam Pattern

Moreover, the NEET exam pattern has been changed this year. The optional questions have been removed for all three sections. Instead of 200 questions, there will now be 180 questions; all questions are mandatory to answer. The total duration of NEET 2025 has been reduced from 200 minutes to 180 minutes, or three hours.

NEET City Intimation Slip and Admit Card Declaration Date

The NEET 2025 city intimation slip and admit card will be announced soon in the second and third weeks of April 2025.

Provisional NEET Answer Key Release Date

Although the NTA has not declared a date for the publication of NEET 2025 answer keys and OMR sheets. The provisional NEET answer keys are expected to be issued in the fourth week of May 2025.

NEET Result 2025 Date

Following the NEET 2025 exam date, the answer keys and NEET result 2025 will be available within a month. The NEET 2025 results will be available on June 14, 2025. These results will be made based on the final answer key, and the result will be in the scorecard form.

NEET Counselling 2025 date

After the result announcement, the NEET 2025 counselling procedure is planned to begin in August 2025.

What Can Males wear for the NEET UG exam?

Here is the details information about the allowed dress code for all male applicants Read it carefully –

• Full-sleeved shirts/T-shirts are not allowed.
• Pockets, zips, large buttons, layers, and other embellishments should be avoided in clothing.
• You can select light slippers or sandals.
• Try to wear basic jeans or shirts
• Kurtas and pajamas must be avoided.
• Footwear should be simple. Boots, shoes, or any concealing/covered footwear are prohibited.
• Avoid layering your clothes.

What Can Female students wear for the NEET UG exam?

• Half-sleeved shirts, t-shirts, and kurtas
• Simple, light-colored clothing without ornamentation.
• Salwar and trousers are allowed.
• Burqa or hijab (with prior declaration on application)
• Slippers, sandals, or low heels
• No accessories, such as earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, or pendants, are permitted.
• Arrive early for security if you’re wearing religious gear.
• If you have any questions concerning the dress code, please contact the NTA or the appropriate authorities ahead of time.

Do Sikhs wear their Religious Items to the NEET exam center?

Yes, they can wear Religious Items – kara, kirpan, or kanga. But they must arrive 1.5 to 2 hours early for verification and Security Checks in the center.

Is Customary Dress, such as Hijab / Burka allowed in the NEET Exam Hall?

Yes, candidates can wear a Hijab or a burkha if they are Muslim female candidates. Delhi High Court permits wearing hijabs and burkhas. However, they first select the “customary dress code” option when applying for the NEET UG 2025 exam.

For Example, indicate your preference on the NEET Application form, arrive early in the exam centre for checks if wearing a hijab.

What not to carry in the Exam Hall?

The NTA has also issued a list of prohibited objects inside the examination hall. Candidates taking the examination must ensure that they do not have any of the following items with them on the exam day.

Stationery products:  The items include test-based materials (written or printed), papers, notes, pencil boxes, pouches, geometry boxes, pens, scales/rulers, erasers, and so on.

Accessories: include purses, belts, caps, goggles, wallets, and so forth.

Electronic Gadget: Calculators, cameras, pens, scanners, and other electronic equipment.

Ornamentation: Any metallic or non-metallic ornaments, such as earrings, nose pins, piercings, etc.
Eatables (packaged or homemade), thermos, etc, are not allowed.

Communication devices: They include mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth, fitness bands, earphones, pagers, and so on.

Can I carry Medicines in the NEET Exam Hall?

Candidates with diabetes can bring sugar tablets, fruits (such as bananas, apples, and oranges), and a clear water bottle. However, such applicants with any serious medical background must have provided the necessary details in their NEET application form 2025.

NEET 2025 Instructions to Follow in Exam Hall

1. Pen will be shared in the Exam Hall: Candidates are provided with a ballpoint pen to write the exam.
2. Candidates must sign the NEET answer sheet twice: once at the exam starts on May 4, and again at the time of finish.
3. Figure Impression: Candidates must offer figure impressions on the attendance sheet.
4. Fill the Test Booklet in Time: Candidates are given a test booklet 15 minutes before the exam to fill out certain information.
5. Don’t forget to fill out the details in OMR on two sides: Candidates must fill out their details on both sides of the OMR answer sheet.
6. Break the seal of the NEET Question Paper 5 Minutes before the exam: Candidates get five minutes before the NEET UG exam 2025 to open the seal on May 4th test booklets to check the number of pages.
7. Match Your Booklet no with the Answer sheet before starting writing: Applicants must ensure that the code on the test booklet matches the answer sheet inside the booklet.
8. Submit Your OMR Sheet: Before exiting the NEET Exam Hall, students must hand in their OMR sheet to the invigilator.
