Eligibility Criteria For OSSC CHSL Recruitment 2026
The Eligibility Criteria for Amin, Junior Fisheries Technical Assistant, Junior Forensic Attendant posts require candidates to have passed 10+2 / Higher Secondary or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board, depending on the post applied for. Applicants must also fall within the prescribed age limit of 21 to 42 years, with relaxation applicable as per government rules.
Educational Qualification
- Amin under EIC (Water Resources):
Candidate must have passed +2 Arts / Science / Commerce or an equivalent qualification recognised as equivalent to the +2 examination, along with a Computer Skill certificate. - Junior Fisheries Technical Assistant:
The candidate should have +2 Vocational (Fisheries) from CHSE / University and must know swimming. If Vocational (Fisheries) is not available, candidates with +2 Science qualification are also eligible. - Junior Forensic Attendant:
Candidate must have passed +2 Science from a recognized Board or Institution.
Age Limit (as on 01 January 2025)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 42 years
Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, SEBC, Women, Ex-Servicemen, and PwD candidates as per government norms.
