1. General Educational Qualification

  • Basic Requirement: A Bachelor’s Degree from any UGC-recognized University is mandatory for almost all Group 2 (Executive) and Group 2A (Non-Executive) posts.

What is a One Time Registration (OTR)?

OTR stands for One Time Registration. It is a mandatory web portal registration for all TNPSC exam aspirants. Candidates enter their basic personal, educational, and contact details once, creating a universal profile valid for 5 years.

Important Note: Completing OTR is NOT the same as applying for an exam. After creating an OTR profile, candidates must separately submit the online application form for TNPSC Group 2 & 2A 2026.

TNPSC Group 2 Exam Date 2026

The TNPSC Group 2 Preliminary Examination 2026 will be conducted on 01 November 2026, as per the TNPSC Annual Planner 2026.
