OSSC CGL Mains Exam Date 2026 Revised Notice Out, Check Exam Schedule Details

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released the revised schedule for the OSSC CGL Mains Examination 2026. Candidates who qualified the Preliminary Examination can now check the updated exam dates for the Mathematics Test, Computer Skill Test, and Main Written Examination. OSSC CGL Mains Exam Date 2026 Revised

According to the revised notification issued by OSSC, the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Mains Examination will be conducted from 7 July and 8 July 2026. The examination consists of different stages scheduled on separate dates for eligible candidates.

Important Instructions for Candidates

PwD candidates who availed the scribe facility in the Preliminary Examination can apply to use their own scribe for the Main Written Examination and Mathematics Test by emailing the required documents to ossc.od@nic.in on or before 02 July 2026. No scribe will be allowed in the Computer Skill Test. Photograph & Signature Guidelines

Candidates must upload their recent passport-size photograph and signature while filling out the application form. These images should meet the specifications prescribed by the commission to avoid rejection of the form.

• The photograph should be recent, clear, and in color.
• It must have a light or white background.
• The candidate’s face should be clearly visible, without a cap or sunglasses.
• The signature must be done on white paper using black or blue ink.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.

Age Limit

• Minimum: 21 years
• Maximum: 42 years
  Relaxations applicable for SC, ST, SEBC, Women, and PwD categories.

General Eligibility Criteria

• Passed Middle School with Odia as a subject, or
• Passed HSC with Odia as the medium, or
• Studied Odia as a subject in Class 7 or above from a recognized school, or
• Passed an Odia language test conducted by the Odisha Government.

OSSC CGL Mains Exam Pattern

• The exam will have 200 marks.
• 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• Questions will be of 10th standard level.

OSSC CGL Selection Process

The OSSC CGL selection process includes a Preliminary Exam, followed by the Mains Exam. Candidates who clear the Mains are called for certificate verification.
