WBBPE Primary Teacher Eligibility Criteria 2025

- OR Higher Secondary with 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed

Teacher Eligibility Test (TET):
- Passing the WBBPE-conducted TET is mandatory.
- Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/Ex-Servicemen/PwD) get 5% relaxation in qualifying marks.
Medium of Instruction:
- Candidates must have studied and passed the language of the post at Higher Secondary or equivalent level.
- For Santhali (Ol-Chiki Script), only proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking is required.
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 40 years
