Tripura University has released the Tripura University Guest Faculty Recruitment 2026 notification for 97 Guest Faculty posts in 31 departments and schools. Tripura University Guest Faculty Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates applying for the Guest Faculty posts must fulfill the eligibility conditions prescribed by the university.

The main eligbility requirements are:

• Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications prescribed under the UGC Regulations, 2018.
• Applicable UGC, AICTE, NCTE and Ministry of Education (MoE) rules will also apply wherever relevant.
• Some departments have additional describe qualifications such as NET, PhD, subject skills or teaching experience.
• Retired/superannuated teachers may also be considered for Guest Faculty assignment up to 70 years of age.
• Candidates must be Indian citizens.
• For departments marked as “Open”, candidates need to fulfil the applicable general UGC eligibility requirments.
