Revised Qualifying Marks for General & Reserved Categories

Tamil Nadu TET Certificate Validity
The TN TET (Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test) certificate is valid for a lifetime from the date of issue, as per the guidelines followed by the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) and NCTE norms. Once issued, candidates can use the TN TET certificate for applying to teaching posts in Tamil Nadu government and aided schools without any expiry limit, subject to fulfilling other eligibility conditions prescribed in the respective recruitment notifications.
TN TET Certificate Issued
The TNTET Certificate 2025 will be issued to candidates who have qualified based on the final provisional marks released by the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) on 28 January 2026. As per the official notification, eligible candidates can download their TNTET e-certificate from 02 February 2026 onwards through the official website, www.trb.tn.gov.in. The certificate is issued in digital format and serves as valid proof of eligibility for teaching positions, and candidates are advised to download and preserve it for future recruitment and verification purposes.

- BT Assistant / BRTE Recruitment: Notification in March 2026, Exam in July 2026.
- Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT): Recruitment drives for primary schools are expected in mid-2026.
- TNTET 2026 (Next Cycle): If you didn’t qualify this time, the first cycle of 2026 is scheduled for July, with a second cycle in October.
