TNTET 2023 Exam Date

TNTET 2023 is a state-level exam which is conducted to select the best candidates for Primary and Upper Primary Teacher positions. TNTET 2023 Notification Steps to Apply

The candidates need to follow the instructions below to successfully fill up and submit the TNTET online application form 2023. The instruction is easy to understand and easier to follow.

  • Step 1: Log in to the Official Website of TRB Tamil Nadu.
  • Step 2: Select the option  “Fill Form”.

TNTET 2023 Notification Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should carefully go through the TNTET eligibility criteria 2023 to ensure they are eligible for the exam. The candidates who fail to comply with the minimum TNTET eligibility criteria will be disqualified. Thus, the candidates must check out the TNTET eligibility criteria before filling up and submitting their TNTET application form.

Paper Educational Qualification
(I) Minimum Qualifications for TNTET Paper-I (for classes I-V): 1. Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

Or

2. Higher Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

Or

3. Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).

Or

4. Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Or

5. Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Or

6. Graduation with atleast 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.,)

(II). Minimum Qualifications for TNTET Paper-II (for classes VI-VIII). 1. Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Or

2. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).

Or

3. Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations.

Or

4. Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).

Or

5. Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed.

Or

6. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of B.Ed. (Special Education).

Or

7. Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. the programme, recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET. Moreover, as per existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11.02.2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET.

TNTET Notification 2023 Age Limit

The candidates must be a minimum of 18 years old to be able to apply for the TNTET Exam  2023. There is no upper age limit as per the TNTET Notification 2023.

TNTET Notification 2023 Admit Card

TNTET Admit Card 2023 will be released before the TNTET exam date 2023. The TNTET Admit Card will be published on the official website of the TRB Tamil Nadu. The candidates need to download and take a printout of the TNTET Admit Card 2023. They must carry the printout of the TNTET Admit Card on the day of the examination to the examination centre. Without the TNTET Admit Card 2023, the candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

TNTET 2023 Salary

TNTET is conducted by Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) Tamil Nadu. Candidates must pass the TNTET Exam who is eligible to apply In Tamil Nadu State Govt. School. As per the latest pay commission of the Tamil Nadu Government, the TNTET Teacher Salary Pay Scale is in the range of Rs. 36,400/- to Rs. 1,15,700 (Level-16). Tamil Nadu Recruitment  Board TRB TN TET Pay scale will be founded on the School and University standards and the individuals who are qualified in TN TET are get extra compensation according to Tamil Nadu Educator Board pay scale.
