The REET 2025 Answer Key is now available on the official website of the Rajasthan Education Board. Candidates can download the REET answer keys and submit objections regarding any discrepancies they find in the answers until March 31, 2025. REET Application Form 2025
The REET application Form 2025 has been closed. Aspiring candidates are advised to thoroughly read the official notification to understand the requirements and ensure they have all necessary documents ready before submitting their application for the exam. Candidates must remember that the application should be submitted online only; applications received through any other mode will not be accepted.
REET Eligibility Criteria
REET is the teaching eligibility test comprised of 2 exams, i.e., Paper-1, which is conducted for the selection at the primary level, i.e., class I to V, and Paper 2, which is conducted for the secondary level, i.e., class VI to VIII. Here, we discuss the REET Eligibility criteria for different levels separately.
Age Limit: The candidate is eligible to fill out the application at the minimum age of 21, with an age relaxation for candidates from the reserved category.
Minimum Qualifications for Becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: (Primary Stage)
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
- Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
- Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Minimum Qualifications for Becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage)
- Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
- Graduation or post-graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), following the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure). OR
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- the year in B.A. /B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. OR
- Graduation or Post Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year B.Ed. (Special Education).
Note: Note:- Amendment by NCTE Notification No.F.No. NCTE-Reg/012/22/2019-US(Regulation)-HQ. Dated 13th November 2019 “At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and B.Ed.” the following Proviso inserted-“Provided that minimum percentage of marks in graduation shall not apply to those incumbents who had already taken admission to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course before the 29th July 2011.”
REET Exam Pattern for Level-1 & 2 exam
The REET Level-1 paper is intended for candidates aspiring to teach at the primary level. It consists of 150 questions, with one mark awarded for each correct answer and no negative marking. Candidates are given 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the exam, which evaluates their knowledge and skills for early childhood education. This straightforward format ensures a fair assessment of their suitability for primary-level teaching roles. New Feature added to the Exam Pattern is that Candidates must select one of five answer options for each question, or face negative marking if left unanswered.
REET Level-I Exam Pattern & Marks Distribution
The REET Level-1 exam comprises 150 questions, each carrying one mark, for a total of 150 marks, with a duration of 2.5 hours. The REET Exam consists of 150 questions, totaling 150 marks, and is conducted over a duration of 2.5 hours. The exam is divided into sections, including Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, and Language II, with each section containing 30 questions worth 30 marks. Candidates are required to choose between two options: Mathematics & Science or Social Studies & Social Science. Each choice comprises 60 questions, contributing 60 marks to the total score.

Rajasthan 3rd-Grade Teachers
BSER will soon announce teaching vacancies for the position of government 3rd-grade teachers at the state level in Rajasthan. To be eligible for these positions, candidates must pass the qualifying exam, which is tentatively scheduled for February 2025 and will be conducted in offline mode. Candidates can apply for either the level-1 or level-2 exams to qualify for 3rd-grade teaching positions. Paper 1 will be held for the selection of teachers for the primary level (classes I to V), while Paper 2 will be for teachers at the secondary level (classes VI to VIII).

REET Cut-Off Marks
As the REET 2025 examination is out, the Supreme Court has also released an order for NCTE regarding the revised passing criteria for REET 2025. There will be a 5 to 20 percent passing percentage relaxation for candidates to qualify for REET 2025. Here are the details are given below :

In the REET Teaching Recruitment Examination, the weightage of the marks obtained in the REET exam has been increased. Previously, the weightage of the REET marks is only 70% and 30% is for the academic weightage of the candidates. Now it is converted into 90: 10.

REET Selection Process
