OSSTET Syllabus 2025 & Exam Pattern For Paper 2

The OSSTET Paper 2 syllabus for Physical Education Teachers is designed to assess knowledge in core concepts from C.P.Ed. and B.P.Ed. programs, alongside general topics related to education and pedagogy. The exam is divided into four sections: Section I covers Language – I (MIL – Odia) with 20 questions worth 20 marks, and Section II includes Language – II (English) with another 20 questions, also worth 20 marks. Section III focuses on subject-specific content from the C.P.Ed. and B.P.Ed. curriculum, consisting of 60 questions carrying 60 marks. Section IV addresses Child Development, Pedagogy, School Management, and Evaluation with 50 questions valued at 50 marks. Child Development, Pedagogy, School Management, and Evaluation (50 Marks) section shall comprise the different subjects taught under the B.Ed. program. The total marks for this section shall be 50, and the questions shall cover all the components with proportional weightage to each section. Section IV is compulsory for all candidates appearing in the Paper examination.
