The KVS NVS Recruitment 2026 introduces a merit-based process of allocation of candidates, and only candidates who make it to the final list are considered for posting. What is the KVS/NVS Merit List and How Does It Decide Your Allocation?

KVS prepares a final merit list for each post. This merit list is the most important document because it decides the order in which candidates will be allocated their posting. Your rank in the merit list is decided by your combined performance across all stages. KVS and NVS: Differences in Allocation Policy

Both KVS and NVS follow a merit-based allocation process. The biggest difference in KVS and NVS is that NVS posts are in fully residential schools (JNVs), so selected NVS staff get additional perks like on-campus accommodation.
