How to Apply for HTET 2025-26?
The application process is simple but requires attention to detail. Follow these steps carefully:
- Visit the official HTET application portal.
- Complete the registration using valid personal details.
- Fill the application form exactly as per the Class 10 certificate.
- Upload a recent coloured photograph, signature, and thumb impression in JPG format.
- Pay the application fee through the online payment gateway.

HTET Application Fees 2026

HTET Eligibility Criteria 2026
HTET eligibility is defined separately for each teaching level.
- Level 1 (PRT, Classes I to V): Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary with at least 50 percent marks along with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or an equivalent qualification.
- Level 2 (TGT, Classes VI to VIII): Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 50 percent marks and a recognized teacher education qualification such as B.Ed or D.El.Ed.
- Level 3 (PGT, Lecturer): Candidates must possess a Post Graduate degree in the concerned subject with at least 50 percent marks and a B.Ed from a recognized university.
- Common Requirement: Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit, or higher education with Hindi as one of the subjects, is mandatory. A five percent relaxation in qualifying marks is applicable for SC, BC, and Differently Abled candidates of Haryana domicile.
HTET Exam Pattern 2026
