The CSIR NET exam is conducted twice a year to determine the eligibility of the candidates appearing for the post of Assistant Professor. The Candidates qualifying for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) will be awarded a stipend and other benefits while pursuing their Ph.D. course.

CSIR NET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The minimum eligibility criteria to appear in the CSIR NET exam for the candidates are mentioned below:

• General and OBC category candidates should have a degree in BTech/ BE/ BPharma/ MBBS/ BS (4-year course)/ Integrated BS-MS/ MSc with a minimum of 55% marks.
• For the SC/ ST/ PwD candidates, there is a relaxation of 5%.

The CSIR NET exam question paper is divided into three parts- Part- A, Part B, and Part C. The basic structure of the question paper for all the subjects is the same.
