AP TET Teacher Salary 2025 for Primary Teacher

AP TET Teacher teaches at 2 levels in schools i.e., 1st level for the primary (Classes 1 to 5) and 2nd level for Upper primary (Classes 6 to 8 ) level classes of government schools in Andhra Pradesh. AP TET Teacher 2025 Benefits

AP TET Teacher 2025 will get basic pay, apart from that teacher will get other benefits which he will get after the permanent post. This includes House rent allowance, Dearness Allowance, medical facilities, travel allowance, and many others.

  • Dearness Allowances: Dearness Allowance (D.A.) is the cost-of-living adjustment allowance paid to Government employees. DA will be getting an increase every year based on salary. As per the 7th Pay Commission, it has been increased to 38.776%.
  • House Rent Allowance: House Rent Allowance (H.R.A.) is paid to an employee to meet part of his/her expenses on living accommodation at the posting area. HRA may be allowed at the following rates:
    1. @ 30% of basic pay subject to a ceiling of ₹.26,000/- p.m. for employees shifting from Hyderabad on the bifurcation of the State.
    2. @ 22% of pay basic pay subject to a ceiling of ₹.22,500/- p.m. in cities with a population above 10 lakh
    3. @ 20% of pay basic pay subject to a ceiling of ₹.20,000/- p.m. in cities with a population of above 2 lakh and up to 10 lakh.
    4. @ 14.5% of pay basic pay subject to a ceiling of ₹.20,000/- p.m. in cities with a population of above 50,000 and up to 2 lakh
    5. Rest of the employees @12% subject to a limit of ₹.17,000 p.m.
    6. Additional HRA in place of rent-free accommodation is retained at 8 % of basic pay, but the monetary ceiling is recommended to be increased from ₹. 2,000/- to ₹. .2,600/- p.m
  • City Compensatory Allowance: City Compensatory Allowance has been given on two slab rates, one for Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada, and the second for the 12 other Municipal Corporations. CCA has been given to Municipal Corporations of Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada, ₹400-1000 and other Municipal Corporations ₹,300-750.
  • Leave Benefits:  AP TET-qualified teacher will get  Child Adoption Leave for up to 180 days, Child Care Leave is for 180 days, and Special Casual Leave of up to 7 days in a year.
  • Medical benefits: The Employee will get medical treatment for himself and his family. The facility of Annual Health check-up will be extended to the Pensioner and his/her spouse.
  • Pensionary Benefits: In respect of pensionary benefits, the Employee will get pension/family pension with dearness relief as on 1.7.2018. 27% of the basic pension/family pension is to be treated as a fitment benefit.
