AIIMS NORCET 8 Eligibility Criteria

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences Delhi has determined some eligibility criteria for the AIIMS NORCET 8 2025 exam. Only the aspirants who meet all these requirements will be eligible to apply for this exam. The eligibility requirements for the AIIMS NORCET 8 2025 exam are as follows:

Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:

Option 1:

  • Possess a B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing degree from an Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council recognized institute or university.
  • OR, have completed B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an INC / State Nursing Council recognized institute/university.
  • Must be registered as a Nurse & Midwife with the State / Indian Nursing Council.

Option 2:

  • Hold a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an INC / State Nursing Council recognized institute.
  • Must be registered as a Nurse & Midwife with the State / Indian Nursing Council.
  • Should have a minimum of 2 years of work experience (post-qualification) in a hospital with at least 50 beds.

Note: The 2-year experience requirement is mandatory only for those who have completed GNM. However, candidates with a B.Sc. Nursing degree do not need prior work experience.

Age Limit

  • Candidates must be between 18 to 30 years old as of the application closing date.
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India norms.
