Candidates must meet the post-specific educational qualifications prescribed by OSSC.

• Teacher Educator posts require a relevant Master’s degree with at least 50 percent marks along with an M.Ed qualification. The Foundation Course also accepts candidates with postgraduate degrees in Education, Philosophy, Sociology, or Psychology along with B.Ed, B.El.Ed, or D.El.Ed.
• Physical Education Instructor candidates must hold an M.P.Ed with a minimum of 50 percent marks.
• Art Education Instructor applicants should possess a Master’s degree in Fine Arts or Performing Arts such as Music, Dance, or Theatre with at least 50 percent marks.

OSSC Combined Post Graduation Level (CPGL) Age Limit 2026

The age limit for OSSC CPGL Recruitment 2026 is calculated as on 01 January 2025. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms. Candidates from SEBC, SC, ST, and all women categories get a relaxation of 5 years. In addition to basic pay, employees will receive admissible allowances as per Odisha Government norms.
