
The Jharkhand TET 2025 announced by JAC has been cancelled officially. In 2024, JAC annouonced the JTET Exam and applicants were invited from 23 July to 26 September 2024. The Jharkhand TET Exam was supposed to be conducted in January 2025 however, now JAC has announced that the JTET 2025 Exam is being cancelled and the application window will reopen again later. JTET 2025 Exam Cancelled
The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has officially cancelled the JTET 2024 exam cycle. This decision comes after concerns were raised about inconsistencies in the syllabus, leading to the withdrawal of the earlier notification. A fresh advertisement will be released, and the exam will be re-conducted under revised rules. Candidates who had already paid the application fee during the earlier window from 23 July to 26 September 2024, won’t have to pay again, offering some relief to over 3.65 lakh applicants. While the new JTET exam date hasn’t been announced yet, it’s expected in January 2025, with the application window closing on 30 August 2024. JTET will be held for Paper I (Classes I- V) and Paper II (Classes VI- VIII), aimed at candidates aspiring to become Primary or Upper Primary Teachers. Once confirmed, shift timings and schedule details will follow.
JTET 2025 Exam Schedule and Timing
The JTET 2025 exam is tentatively set for January 2025 with two shifts. Shift 1 begins with entry at 7:30 AM, test booklet distribution from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM, and the exam from 9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon. Shift 2 starts with entry at 12:30 PM, test booklet distribution from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM, and the exam from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

Jharkhand TET 2025 Exam- Overview
The Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) 2025, organized by the Jharkhand Academic Council, Ranchi, will consist of two papers: Paper 1 for Primary Teachers (Classes I-V) and Paper 2 for Upper Primary Teachers (Classes VI-VIII). - Candidates who have passed +2 or higher secondary or equivalent exams and have the following educational qualifications:
- Two-year D.Ed in Special Education in any category of disability. OR
- One-year Diploma in Special Education (DSE) in any category of disability. OR
- Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (DCBR) with a 6-month Certificate Course in Education of Children with Special Needs. OR
- Post Graduate Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (PGDCBR) with a 6-month Certificate Course in Education of Children with Special Needs. OR
- Diploma in Multi Rehabilitation Worker (MRW) with a 6-month Certificate Course in Education of Children with Special Needs. OR
- Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf. OR

- Graduate (or equivalent) with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any name).
- Graduate (or equivalent) or Postgraduate with at least 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) (for those enrolled in the graduate or equivalent training course after 29.07.2011).
- Graduate (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent training course, obtained according to the National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition, Norms and Procedures) Regulations (for those enrolled in the graduate or equivalent training course before 29.07.2011).
- Higher Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a four-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
- Higher Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a four-year B.A/ B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./ B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduate (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education).
- Postgraduate with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade and a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
