How to Apply for the JET Exam Jharkhand Eligibility Test?

Candidates must apply online exclusively through the official JPSC website; no other mode of JET 2025 application will be accepted. Only one application per candidate is permitted, as multiple submissions will be rejected. Before starting, ensure you have all the necessary documents ready.

Step 1: One-Time Registration (OTR)

• Use your own Email ID and Mobile Number to register.
• Fill out the OTR form on the website.
• Note down the system-generated Application (OTR) Number.
• Upload a scanned recent passport-sized photograph (JPG, 10KB-200KB) with 80% face visible against a white background.
• Upload a scanned image of your signature (JPG, 4KB-30KB).

Step 2: Complete the JET Online Application

• After OTR, proceed to fill out the specific JET application form.

• Pay the application fee using a Debit Card, a Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking.
• Keep proof of the successful payment for your records.

Step 4: Final Submission and Confirmation

• Your application will only be considered successfully submitted and your candidature confirmed upon the successful receipt of the application fee.
• After payment, download and print the Confirmation Page of your Application Form for future reference. This page can only be generated after a successful fee transaction.

JET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• General / EWS Category: You must have secured a minimum of 55% marks (without rounding off) in a Master’s degree or equivalent from a UGC-recognized university.
• Reserved Categories (SC, ST, BC-I, BC-II, PwBD): You must have secured at least 50% marks in your Master’s degree. This relaxation applies only to candidates who are permanent residents of Jharkhand state.
• Final Year Students: Candidates appearing for their final Master’s degree exams or awaiting results can apply provisionally. They must secure the required percentage within two years of the JET result declaration.
• Ph.D. Holders: A 5% mark relaxation is provided for candidates who completed their Master’s degree on or before September 19, 1991.
• No Age Limit: There is no upper age limit to apply for the JET exam, as per the notification.
