As per the latest statement from the Board Chairman, the HTET exam has indeed been pushed ahead, and new tentative timelines have been indicated for 2026. HTET 2026 Exam Date Latest News

The biggest update is that two HTET exam cycles are now expected in 2026. The delay is mainly due to the ongoing secondary and senior secondary annual examinations that started on 25 February. Since HTET is conducted over two days and requires at least one month of preparation, the board could not hold it alongside the board exams. This confirms that the earlier displayed schedule is no longer valid, and candidates should now prepare according to the revised expected timeline.
