Gujarat SET Qualifying Marks

To qualify for the Gujarat State Eligibility Test, candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by the GSET Agency. The qualifying criteria are aligned with UGC norms.

• General / Unreserved Category: 40% aggregate marks
• SC / ST / SEBC / PwD Categories: 35% aggregate marks

Note: According to UGC’s latest guidelines, only the top 6% of appearing candidates (who meet the minimum marks) will be declared “Qualified” for the eligibility of Assistant Professor.

The GSET Score Card 2025-26 has been officially released along with the results, allowing candidates to check their subject-wise performance in the Gujarat State Eligibility Test conducted on 16 November 2025.
