Bihar School Examination Board, Bihar had released notification regarding the new examination dates for the recruitment for 37335 vacancies of Secondary Teachers (Class 9th-10th) and Senior Secondary teacher (Class 11th-12th) through Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test (Stet), 2019 & Physical Education & Health Instructor Ability Test , 2019. BSEB has released the new exam dates which will be going to conduct from 9 Sept 2020 to 21 Sept 2020. The admit card for the Bihar STET 2019 examination will be released before 2 week of the exam date.

Earlier Bihar STET exam 2019-2020 was cancelled after an investigation committee find out various cases of irregularities in the examination and paper leak during the exam that was held on January 28, 2020. BSEB had conducted the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (BSTET) 2019 on 28th January 2020 and 26th February 2020 which was cancelled .

Qualifying Marks:
The minimum for Bihar STET is 50%. A person securing 50% or more in paper shall be considered to have qualified Bihar STET . In case of SC/ ST/ PH candidates, the minimum pass mark shall be 45%.

The validity for Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) will be 7 yrs.
