Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has released the AUD Teaching Recruitment 2026 notification for 89 regular faculty posts. The recruitment includes Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor posts across 14 Schools of the University. Out of these, 37 posts are of Assistant Professor, 28 for Associate Professor and 24 for Professor.
Eligible candidates can apply online through the AUD recruitment portal. After submitting the online form, candidates also need to send a signal hard copy of the application with self-attested documents to the university.

AUD Teaching Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
The educational qualification for AUD faculty posts is mainly based on the applicable UGC Regulations, 2018. For specfic professional areas, the University also follows the relevant NCTE, AICTE or other regulatory-body norms, wherever applicable.
AUD Assistant Professor Eligibility
For Assistant Professor posts, candidates generally need:
- A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in the concerned or relevant/allied subject.
- A valid NET/SLET/SET qualification, wherever required under the applicable UGC rules.
- For Education Studies posts, additional qualifications such as B.Ed. may be required.
- Management posts have separate qualification and experience requirements.
Associate Professor Eligibility
Candidates generally need:
- A Ph.D. degree in the relevant/allied subject.
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks.
- At least 8 years of teaching/research experience.
- Required research publications and research score as prescribed by UGC.
Professor Eligibility
Candidates generally need:
- A Ph.D. degree in the relevant subject.
- At least 10 years of teaching/research experience.
- Required research publications and research score.
- Experience of guiding doctoral candidates, wherever applicable.
AUD Teaching Recruitment 2026 Salary
Selected candidates will receive salary according to the 7th CPC Academic Pay Levels.

Selection Process
There is no written examination for these teaching posts. The selection will be based on screening/shortlisting followed by an interview. A presentation or seminar may also be required, depending on the post.
