APPSC PGT 2025 Application Fees
For the APPSC PGT Recruitment 2025, candidates need to pay the application fee online. The fee is set at ₹150 for APST candidates and ₹200 for other candidates. APPSC PGT 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree (2nd Class) in the concerned subject from a recognized university along with B.Ed.
- Candidates appearing in their final year/semester can apply, provided they submit proof of passing before the interview.
Age Limit:
- General category: Candidates born on or after 01/01/1989.
- APST candidates: Born on or after 01/01/1984.
- Additional relaxations apply for Government employees and PwBD candidates.

The selection will be based on:
Written Examination (Mains):
- General English, General Studies, Aptitude & Pedagogy – 150 marks (Objective)
- Subject Paper I – 150 marks (Descriptive)
- Subject Paper II – 150 marks (Descriptive)
- Viva-Voce & Classroom Teaching – 50 marks
- Total: 500 Marks
Recruitment Test (if required):
- General Awareness & Pedagogy – 100 marks
- Concerned Subject – 200 marks
- Total: 300 Marks (Objective)
Is there a Written Exam for APPSC PGT Recruitment 2025?
Yes. All candidates must appear for the Written Examination (Mains) followed by a Viva-Voce/Classroom Teaching test. If applications exceed the permissible ratio, APPSC will first conduct a Recruitment Test on 12 October 2025. The main exam is scheduled for 27 and 28 November 2025.
