The full form of LBSNAA is Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration. LBSNAA is where all IAS aspirants’ dreams come true. 15th April 1958	The declaration was made in the Lok Sabha by the Home Minister.
13th April 1959	The first batch of officers (115 officers) begins training in Metcalfe House.
1st September 1959	The Academy relocated to Mussoorie at the Charleville Hotel.
Inception to 31st August 1970	Now, the Home Ministry is in charge of the Academy.
1st September 1970 to April 1977	The Academy reports to the Cabinet Secretariat Affairs Department.
October 1972	The name has been changed to the Lal Bahadur Shastri Academy of Administration.
July 1973	The name has been changed to the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA).
April 1977 to March 1985	Home Ministry is in charge of the Academy.
April 1985 till date	The Academy reports to the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions.
1988	The NICTU was founded.
1989	The National Society for the Advancement of Development Administration, Research, and Training (NSDART) was founded.
3rd November 1992	Karamshila building Inaugurated
1995	Softrain, now known as the Publication Cell, was founded.
9th August 1996	Dhruvshila and Kalindi Guest House are officially opened.
14th October 1996	NSDART was established as a society under the Societies Registration Act and is currently known as the National Institute of Administrative Research (NIAR).
2011	Gyanshila, Silverwood, and Valley View were constructed
21st June 2013	The Brahmaputra building is inaugurated.
29th June 2015	The Adharshila building was inaugurated.

LBSNAA Full Form and Academy Song

The Academy Song is a Bengali song written by the renowned Bengali composer, lyricist, and performer Shri. Atul Prasad Sen (1871 – 1934). He was an accomplished educator, writer, lawyer, philanthropist, and social worker. It was adopted by the Academy during the time of Shri. Rajeshwar Prasad, who served as Director from 11th May 1973 to 11th April 1977. The Academy has altered the song by incorporating translations of some phrases into Hindi, Tamil, and Marathi. The song symbolizes the ethos of Indian Civil Services and is thus a continual source of motivation for all officials.
