SSC MTS Job Description for the Income Tax Division
Although you are a Multitasking Staff (MTS) in Income Tax, you are well-treated and normally perform better than MTS. SSC MTS Department Allocation List: Post-cum-States’, UTs’, and Cadre Controlling Authorities’ Preferences
Candidates who pass this exam and are chosen for the position of MTS will be assigned to various Ministries, Departments, and Offices of the Government of India, as well as numerous Constitutional Bodies, Statutory Bodies, and Tribunals in various States and UTs. Candidates will ideally be initially assigned to one of the designated states or territories.
